I have an assessment for Autism on the 30th and I'm extremely nervous. Any advice? :/

I myself had my assessment when I was only nine, so I don’t remember much about how it works, I’m afraid. I know some of my followers have had assessments much more recently than I have, though. Anyone got some advice for our fellow hedgehog to help them on their way?

moosegeese said: Don’t be nervous. Just be yourself and answer questions honestly. Take your time in responding and don’t feel judged. Whatever happens is going to happen. You’re still you no matter what and that’s the most important thing.

p--3a said: don’t make/fake eye contact, and stim as much as you want. otherwise, be yourself. sometimes you have to drop things that you usually do to pass so the assessor will do their job properly.

scattered-minutiae said: Be yourself! :) Don’t be afraid to take along notes or ask questions. Maybe bring a friend. I had my assessment at 43 and was extremely nervous, but everyone who I dealt with at the psychologist’s office was very kind and helpful and understanding.
